Halloween Fun
Jackson painted and carved pumpkins for the first time this year. He liked the painting much better than the carving. He did not like taking the insides out of the pumpkin. He said, "Pumpkin Yucky, Ewww!" and then watched me do the rest while he painstakingly picked all of the pumpkin guts off of his hands. I decided to make his costume instead of buying something else. It was a fun challenge, but his Thomas costume came out pretty good (thanks to a lot of duct tape!). It was a little top heavy as you can tell from the pictures, but it served its purpose and he was very happy with it. We went to Nana and Pop Pop's and surprised them. They were very excited to see Jackson at their door. He learned to say, "Trick or Treat" but he said it so quietly that I don't think anyone could hear him. He got lots of candy and was very excited to eat his first Kit Kat. We had a fun night!!
